With the Werdenfelserei we have fulfilled a dream as a family – in addition to the Fiakerhof we opened a boutique hotel in 2018 in the heart of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, at the foot of Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze. It is a “homage to the homeland”!
The Werdenfelserei is a modern mountain hut inspiration, a boutique hotel where forest, mountains, and breathtaking views play through fabulous modern interiors. A hotel that frames pure nature and flirts with the cozy traditions of the Alps. Traditional elements are combined with fresh design tones to create progressive alpine and modern symphony. With the Werdenfelserei the Erhardt family successfully created a balancing act between a luxurious boutique hotel and alpine chalet feeling. With 43 studios, 8 suites, the restaurant Wurzelwerk, the Naschwerk & bar, a cozy lobby with a fire-place, an infinity rooftop pool with a beautiful roof terrace, and a generous spa area the hotel offers everything, of what the fastidious guest can only dream.
